Rammer 4099 has been designed using a revolutionary new operating principle that combines stroke length, blow energy and Rammer’s idle blow protector, allowing the hammer to be adjusted to match individual carriers and applications, improving hydraulic efficiency and safety.
Super Duty Housing (Optional)
Heavy duty housings are standard on all our products. But when the application demands it, our Super duty housings are designed for the toughest of applications.
Featuring a robust structure, Super duty housings are made from plate wear-resistant steel, with minimum number of holes and heavy duty wear plates for optimum vibration- and noise dampening.
Resulting in a longer housing lifetime even in the harshest of applications, reducing the cost of ownership through less maintenance.
More efficient than relief/check valves, Ramvalve detects overflow, prevents damage from system overload and protects against premature failure.
Ramlube I (Optional)
Carrier mounted greasing device
Idle Blow Protector
Idle Blow Protection ensures the hammer cannot be operated until pressure is placed on tool. This eliminates tie rod stress, reduces oil overheating and protects against premature failures.
The twin-handed design allows optimal mounting on both left and right handed carriers, prolonging the service life of the hose connections.
Ramlube II (Optional)
Mounted greasing device, with adjustable flow and cartridge feed.
Membrane type accumulator
Membrane-type accumulator eliminates nitrogen leakages, ensuring maximum piston acceleration and removing the need for time-consuming recharging.
FBE (Fixed blow energy)
A built-in pressure control valve maintains hydraulic pressure levels to ensure that every blow delivers the maximum power possible optimum productivity.
VIDAT tie rods
Vibration Dampened Tie Rods, spherical tie rod nuts and damper bushings ensures piston moves freely for longer, more productive working life.
The stroke selector makes it easy to change between short-long stoke depending on the material. Selecting stoke lengths allows you to adjest the working method to suit application and improve productivity.
Trenching is a form of primary breaking in which a narrow trench is excavated especially for laying pipes, cables or for installing drainage
Hydraulic excavators have largely replaced cranes with wrecking balls, enabling demolition to be carried out in a much more controlled and efficient manner.
Low clearance hammer tunneling
Especially in the underground mining industry the tunneling operations do not always allow for enough clearance, this restricts the types of carriers that can work in these environments.
Tunneling with a hydraulic hammer is similar to primary breaking. It is useful in weathered rock conditions.
Hammer fitted to an excavator working directly in a bench to breaks away rock which can then be removed by truck. This is most commonly used where blasting is not allowed.
When blasted rock is too big for the feeder or crusher, secondary breaking is needed to get the boulders down to size. The type of rock dictates the effectiveness of the process, with brittle rock giving the best performance.
Underwater breaking, be is primary breaking and/or demolition are very custom application in which material is broken up and removed by equipment which is partly or fully submerged.
