3288 PRO

The Rammer 3288 PRO is compatible with carriers in the 28 to 45 tonne range. The 2,600 kg hammer has been designed based on the field proven Rammer 3288 hammer and shares with it many key features that have established that unit as one of the most popular large hammers in the world.

These standard Rammer 3288 features are backed by a range of enhancements that help the 3288 PRO withstand extreme working conditions. The unit benefits from a sealed housing structure that prevents the ingress of dust and dirt, thereby extending the working life of both the hammer and the tool. A top cover plate has sealed through apertures for stump hydraulic hoses and features sealed hose connections for grease, air and water.

The hammer has a sturdy housing design and wear resistant wear plates that make it perfect for horizontal working duties in applications such as tunneling.

High pressure membrane accumulator

Membrane-type accumulator eliminates Nitrogen leakages, ensuring constant maximum impact power and eliminating the need for recharging in field.
Indexable power cell (left or right handed)

The ability to rotate the powercell 180 degress is part of the twin-handed design, allowing for optimal mounting on both left and right handed carriers, prolonging the service life of the hose connections.
Vibration and sound suppressed

Less vibrations and at the same time significantly lower noise levels are achieved with this ultra-modern, low-wear design.

The relatively short hydraulic hoses go upwards from the hammer to the carrier boom. This allows full utilization of the working length of the hammer in narrow applications.

In demolition, trenching or underwater applications there is little contact to the material.

Idle blow protector

Stroke selector

The stroke selector makes it easy to change between short-long stoke depending on the material. Selecting stoke lengths allows you to adjest the working method to suit application and improve productivity.
VIDAT tie rods

Vibration dampened, external tie rods (VIDAT) with spherical tie rod nuts and elastomeric vibration dampers.

No special tools are required for service.

Ramair (optional)

The RAMMER - RAMAIR air supply prevents dirt from entering the hammer housing and the impact chamber in order to achieve longest service life of the RAMMER hammer even in the most demanding applications.

It also ensures that the tool grease is conveyed to the tool bushings at any time and in any position of the hammer and that no overfilling occurs.

The RAMMER - RAMAIR is particularly recommended for highly abrasive and dusty materials or overhead applications, such as tunneling or robbery work.

The integrated dust suppression system, with which a fine water mist is applied under high pressure directly to the area where the dust is generated.

Hammer tunneling

Tunneling with a hydraulic breaker is similar to primary breaking. It is useful in weathered rock conditions, especially in operations with ristricted clearance.
